Mind Boggling All Time High Of 1.42 Trillion Dollar Deficit.

I'm just wondering how many business could operate, function and be permitted to stay in business owing 1.42 trillion dollars. We are not talking about millions or even a few billion dollars, we are talking about almost 1.5 trillion. Somethings wrong, drastically wrong and the American people are paying for and being held accountable for the mess.

 

It seems that there are a hundred if not a thousand excuses for the mess, however no one takes responsibility or is held accountable as the American people are being offered excuses and all these great new plans on how to fix the mess.

 

All these financial disasters, the economy, the mortgage problems, the stock market problems, banking problems and every other financial problem has brought great depression on America as people are suffering all do to mis managment and poor leadership.

 

Pray that God would place true leaders, honorable leaders and leaders of integrity in our government, that the citizens of America would be freed of those who place them in bondage, debt, and that bring depression upon our nation and people. Pray that righteousness, truth and true leadership comes forth and that the American people are set free from leaders that lack Godly wisdom.

Have you ever encountered a person that is so bitter and hateful that peace escapes them? It's like all they do is complain and complain and complain. Nothing satisfies them. Philippine president, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, has declared a nationwide "state of calamity" as it braces for the arrival of a powerful super-typhoon, just days after another storm caused the country's worst flooding in decades. Forecasters have warned that Parma, a category five storm, will hit the islands on Saturday. This is after hundreds were killed and the city of Manila flooded by typhoon Ketsana. This is an an extremely serious situation.

Please, let us stand in prayer for the Filipino people. Let's pray that the strength of this category five storm will rapidly diminish. Let us also give sacrificially to relief agencies that can get vital food, medicines and basic necessities to the people in need.

Finally, let us continue to intercede for the Samoan Islands, Tonga and Indonesia, all recently devastated by earthquakes.

OK, this topic has been around for many years. However, we seem to be hearing more and more about a one world currency in the mainstream news and from government officials around the globe. Just imagine all the things that would be involved in changing over to a one world currency. It would take a major world situation to bring about a instantaneous change over. Depression is crippling. It hinders us from pressing forward, finding victory and becoming all that we are called to be. Usually depression sneaks up on us over periods of time. Many are the afflictions of depression. So what are the root causes of depression. One is sin. Sin is like a wide broad path that leads us into seasons of depression. One doesn't see it coming until it has arrived. Now multiply that depression with a room filled with people that are struggling and that have lost hope. Yes, that have lost hope, even faith, even trust, and especially confidence.

 

God's river is not a river of depression, nor does it produce such fruits.

You Never Know What Life Can Bring

As I'm sure that you are aware of, the flu season will be coming soon. Last year my daughter and wife caught a bad case of the flu. My daughter recovered in around seven days, however my wife ended up in the hospital in ICU. The virus that she caught ended up attacking her heart, damaging her heart mussel and almost took her life. She left the hospital 7 days later with heart failure, a pacemaker and a heart that only functioned at 20%. That was in December of 2008. By June of 2009 her heart was functioning at 33% as some improvement has come forth. Life has changed to say the least. My wife before this illness was in perfect health. Who would have thought.

 

With the flu season soon to come and fears of a swine flu epidemic. Be wise and take precautions to protect your health and that of your family.

As I've grown older, I've looked back over the seasons and simply remembered all the years and seasons I've encountered. When Other's Treat You Unfairly

Sometimes life is just not a bowl of cherries. There are times when people can treat you unfairly and be quite rude. There are times when people can out and out treat you with extreme cruelties. It hurts, can lead to frustration and even deeply rooted anger. Sometimes the offenses are so damaging that they affect us for days, weeks, months and even years. Yet the person that inflicted the offences has many times gone on with their life and are rarely affected by what they have done.

 

Let me encourage you to pull the plug on what they have casted upon you. Let it go. Forgive them and put the matter behind you. In doing so, you set yourself free from the affects of what they have done to you. Rather than living in the situation and allowing it to affect your life and have rule over you. Set yourself free from it by simply extending forgiveness.

The Distant Pastor

My wife is always sharing with me that she feels our pastor is distant and hard to get to know. I tend to agree with her, however, I also know that as the pastor he has a lot on his table. Sometimes we forget that pastors have wives, children, grand children and all sorts of responsibilities. Sometimes we forget that they are human beings just like us and encounter many of the emotions, hardships and difficulties that we all do. Sometimes we see pastors as God when the truth is, there are merely men and sometimes women. It's as if we place them on pedestals as if they are angels of something.

Those Open Wounds That Never Heal

Have you ever ended up with a open wound or cut that was slowly healing? First comes the cut or scrape, then comes the bleeding and as times passes the wound starts to heal and the scab process begins. Sometimes infections set in, we again injure the wound and other times healing comes forth with no complications.

 

In many ways the above is a perfect picture of heart wounds. Those deep wounds that life, life situations, disappointments, emotional traumas and people can inflict upon us. Many times we inflict the wounds ourselves through sins and the decisions that we make. Many times we re open the very same wounds over and over and over, and no true healing ever comes forth.

 

Just imagine all the situations, circumstances and even difficult situations that can lead to deeply rooted heart issues. A divorce, the lost of a relative, the loss of a child, the loss of a close friend, condemnation, guilt, childhood problems, being brought up in a dysfunctional family, disapointments, failures and so on. There are many, many, situations and circumstances that can deeply wound a person.

 

If you have deep wounds that have never healed, let me encourage you to seek Godly counsel through a local church, pastor or deliverance ministry. There are loving, kind, compassionate people within the body of Christ that God has anointed that can truly understand you're situation and help you.

Celebrate Life

Life should be like a celebration and filled with joy. Yes there are difficult times, hardships and we all encounter those mountains that hinder us and set us back. Regardless, life is wonderful, planet earth is wonderful and being a part of the human race is wonderful. The problem many times is where is that race taking us?

 

The fast lanes of life. No doubt that if we get on that fast lane of life, we can soon find ourselves burnt out. That freeway offers freedom, yet ends in bondage. Life should be filled with peace, happiness, joy and a overall sense of well being. Jesus spoke of the wide and broad path saying many go therein and it leads to destruction. Jesus also spoke of the straight and narrow, that few find, and that it leads to everlasting life. Which path have you found?

Peace In The Midst Of Life's Storms

Life can be very demanding. From those daily responsibilities to just getting through the week and sometimes it's as if some one's intentionally throwing things at you. Of course it also depends on your lifestyle and how busy your days are. Some people plan and schedule so many things that they barely have time to eat. It's easy to get so busy with life's demands that there's no time for God.

 

Let me encourage you to start your day with Jesus. Just by simply awakening and saying "Good Morning Lord". You see Jesus can calm the storms of life, for Christ is the Prince of Peace and the peace of God surpasses all understanding, it quiets the storms and that peace also helps us put things into perspective. It quiets our souls, gives us rest and brings us into still waters.

Is there someone that you've lost contact with? Maybe a old high school friend, maybe a old co worker, maybe a relative or close close family member? We all get busy and the freeway of life just seems to consume our time. Grandparents, uncles, aunts, best friends and people that we've spent time with just seem to fall onto the back burners of our life. Many times we are reminded of those people in thought. We make plans to contact them, but life's freeway once again consumes us. Maybe the Holy Spirit is putting someone on your heart right now. Take time and make that call. Lacking Favor

It's sad when the church falls into the same spiral that the world finds itself in. It's sad when the membership of the church suffers, rather than rising above. It's sad when the precepts of men have etched their way into the word of God and downgraded it. It's sad when man's agenda turns the word of God into a secondary rule and many pay the price for such. The end result of compromising God's word is lack of favor which affects all.

Remember, man's ways always fall short to the sure foundation, plans and purposes of God, for the word is a lamb unto our feet, eternal and shall never pass away.

The Bow-Man

There everywhere, and yes even at church. The bow-man's.

They stretch their bows out having their arrows ready to shoot always looking for just one person to target. You see it makes up for their losses, and if you look past their pride, arrogance, titles and yes even the braided (slang for rats nest) hair. You'll see their true colors coming thru...

Remedy: Pray for them and give thanks to God. Why you might ask? Well aside from the fact that scripture states that we should pray for such people. If you look even further into the situation you'll probably find that someone has put them up to it.

Ah!.... blink... blink...

He Came To Call Sinners To Repentance

Freeway To Heaven

Pocket Change Come Back

Just imagine if you had all the change, the coins that have ever passed through your hands. The pennies, nickels, dimes and so on. Wow! that just might add up to some major pocket change.

Now just imagine if you had a very large container and each day you placed your pocket change in that container and saved it. How much would you save in one year, or two, or five or ten.

I'm just wondering if life has been stealing your pocket change? All those times that you tried to save a little here and a little there.

Call it back! All that has been stolen from you. Call it back. In fact, lets call back all that has been stolen from us by that enemy that comes to rob. steal and destroy.

The All American Way

In all honesty and as much as I love our country America isn't doing so well these days. Things seem to be slipping away from money matters, to stock markets, banking, home sales, auto industries and so on.

Maybe what's wrong is the nation and country has fallen away from the ROCK and tried building it's future on sand.

It existed indeed before, but it was then constituted as a sign of the covenant. Others, however (as Delitzsch, Commentary on Pentateuch), think that it "appeared then for the first time in the vault and clouds of heaven." It is argued by those holding this opinion that the atmosphere was differently constituted before the Flood. It is referred to three other times in Scripture (Eze 1:27,28; Rev 4:1-3; 10:1).

I'm wondering how long this will last? Although Israel is declaring the cease fire, they are remaining in Gaza. Chances are Hamas will continue it's rocket attackes, continue attacking and escalate the situation once again.
